We keep this short and plain. It explains what we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it.

This website is run by For Your Insights (Pty) Ltd, trading as Gen AI Innovation. We are the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), which means we decide why and how your personal information is used.

We only collect what we need. This depends on how you deal with us.

We do not ask for ID numbers, financial account details or other sensitive personal information on this website.
When you download a guide you are asked to tick a box agreeing to receive occasional emails from us. We send marketing emails only to people who have ticked that box or who are existing clients, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email or by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew. We keep a minimal record that you unsubscribed so that we do not email you again by mistake.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business. They may only use your information on our instructions.
Some of these providers store or process information outside South Africa, including in the United States. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.
We may also share information where the law requires us to do so.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts. It does store two small items in your browser: a note that you have already unlocked a guide on this device, so you do not need to fill in the form again, and a campaign label from the link you arrived through. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
We keep your information for as long as you are on our email list or we are working with you, and for as long afterwards as we need it for accounting, legal or dispute purposes. When you ask us to delete your information we will do so, except where the law requires us to keep it. Records of consent and unsubscribe requests are kept as proof.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information safe. These include secure connections on our website, access limited to the people who need it and password-protected accounts with our service providers. No online system is completely risk free. If a breach affects your personal information we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
